GRANTS AND CONTRACTS: SHEEO RECEIVES FUNDS FROM GRANTING AGENCIES TO PERFORM DESCRIBED WORK IN HIGHER EDUCATION POLICY. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2023, SHEEO RECEIVED GRANTS FROM LUMINA FOUNDATION IN SUPPORT OF STATE AUTHORIZATION AND EQUITY INITIATIVES. SHEEO RECEIVED FUNDING FROM THE BILL & MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION FOR CREATING AWARENESS OF LONGITUDINAL DATA, TO CREATE DATA COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE, AND TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF SHEEOS WORK WITH STATES. ARNOLD FOUNDATION PROVIDED GRANTS FOR WORK RELATED TO STATE AUTHORIZATION AND COLLEGE CLOSURES. ECMC FOUNDATION PROVIDED ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR PROJECTS ON COLLEGE ATTAINMENT AND TRANSFER STANDARDS.


PROJECT ACTIVITY: PLANNED AND AD HOC RESEARCH ON HIGHER EDUCATION POLICY TO SUPPORT SHEEO MEMEBERS' ACTIVITIES IN THE STATES. THIS INCLUDES TRAVEL EXPENSES TO ATTEND NATIONAL MEETINGS AND SALARIES TO SHEEO STAFF MEMBERS WORKING ON HIGHER EDUCATION POLICY.

AND CREATION OF THE STATE HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE ANNUAL SURVEY AND REPORT.
