PROMOTE POLICIES AND PRACTICES THAT ARE DESIGNED TO (1) CREATE TEACHING/LEARNING CONDITIONS THAT WILL CLOSE ACHIEVEMENT GAPS, INCREASE GRADUATION RATES, AND PROVIDE A QUALITY EDUCATION FOR ALL STUDENTS, AND (2) RECRUIT AND RETAIN A QUALITY WORKFORCE BY IMPROVING THE COMPENSATION, RETIREMENT BENEFITS, AND OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS OF EDUCATION EMPLOYEES, ADVANCING THEIR PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS AND ADDRESSING THEIR CONCERNS ABOUT SOCIAL JUSTICE.


PARTNER WITH LOCALS TO PROVIDE INTEGRATED PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT FOCUS ON MEMBERSHIP GROWTH, RETENTION, ENGAGEMENT, AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT AS WELL AS BUILD LOCAL CAPACITY.
