STFM CONFERENCE ON PRACTICE & QUALITY IMPROVEMENT - THIS CONFERENCE HAS ABOUT 350 ATTENDEES ANNUALLY, BUT HAD TO MOVE TO A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE DUE TO COVID. STILL SUCCESSFUL, IT IS FORMED TO HELP ATTENDEES ORGANIZE THEIR PRACTICE AROUND THE PATIENT, STREAMLINE PROCESSES, AND PROVIDE QUALITY CONSISTENT EVIDENCED BASED CARE.
STFM ANNUAL SPRING CONFERENCE, MAY, 2021. STFM NORMALLY HAS APPROXIMATELY 1800 ATTENDEES ANNUALLY, BUT BECAUSE OF COVID, WE HAD TO PIVOT AND CREATE A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE. WE CONTINUED TO HAVE MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO SEE A HUNDRED OR MORE SESSIONS, WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, LECTURES, AS WELL AS MANY NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE AT OUR OPEN HOUSE AND PARTNERS. OUR RESOURCES FOCUS ON PROVIDING INFORMATION TO ENHANCE ATTENDEE TEACHING SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
STFM CONFERENCE ON MEDICAL STUDENT EDUCATION - THE MSE CONFERENCE WAS HELD VIRTUALLY THIS YEAR AND HAS APPROXIMATELY 600 ATTENDEES ANNUALLY WHO GAIN THE SKILLS AND TOOLS NEEDED TO PREPARE MEDICAL STUDENT FACULTY TO LEAD AND PROSPER IN THE EVER CHANGING WORLD OF HEALTHCARE FOR PATIENT CARE. OVER 200 SESSIONS ARE OFFERED INCLUDING PLENARY SPEAKERS, SEMINARS, POSTER RESEARCH, AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES.
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT DELIVERED - PROGRAMS WHERE FACULTY TAKE THE PROGRAM ON THE ROAD AND DELIVER TO INSTITUTIONS.FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENCY CURRICULUM RESOURCE - THE PROGRAM HOUSES PEER-REVIEWED COMPETENCY BASED CURRICULUM CONTENT ORGANIZED BY POST-GRADUATE RESOURCES.TEACHING PHYSICIAN - PROVIDES AN ONLINE RESOURCE THAT STREAMLINES TRAINING, ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS REGULARLY WITH PRECEPTORS.PRECEPTOR PROJECTS - PRIMARY CARE CLERKSHIPS ARE STRUGGLING TO OBTAIN AND RETAIN QUALITY CLINICAL TRAINING SITES.
