THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION SHALL BE TO PROMOTE A FRATERNAL SPIRIT AMONG ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE SPRINGFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT, TO ENHANCE THE MUTUAL INTERESTS OF BOTH THE EMPLOYEES AND CITIZENS.
WE HAVE SWORN TO PROTECT AND SERVE; TO PROMOTE AN ACTIVE INTEREST IN GOOD GOVERNMENT AND CIVIC AFFAIRS; TO INSPIRE RESPECT FOR THE LAW, PROMOTE PATRIOTISM; TO AID AND ENCOURAGE OUR CITIZENS THAT THE BELIEF OF SERVICE TO OTHERS WILL ADVANCE THE WELL BEING OF THE COMMUNITY.
