ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERSHIP ATTENDED IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY BY 547 ATTORNEYS, WITH 76 SPEAKERS INCLUDING ARKANSAS' MOST PROMINENT LAWYERS, JUDGES AND PROFESSORS ADDRESSING CURRENT LEGAL ISSUES AND RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD OF LAW; WITH 37 HOURS OF CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION AVAILABLE TO ATTENDEES.
MOCK TRIAL COMPETITION PROVIDED SIMULATED REAL WORLD TRIAL EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS FROM SEVERAL HIGH SCHOOLS.THE ASSOCIATION CREATES AND PUBLISHES OVER A DOZEN HANDBOOKS AND LEGAL SYSTEMS CONCERNING VARIOUS AREAS OF LAW PRACTICE. WRITTEN BY EXPERIENCED ATTORNEYS, THE PUBLICATIONS PROVIDE LEGAL FORMS, RELEVANT LAW, PROCEDURAL RULES AND PRACTICAL "HOW TO" ADVICE FOR THE PRACTICE OF LAW IN THE SPECIFIC AREA COVERED.ARKANSASFINDALAWYER MATCHES ATTORNEYS WITH THOSE NEEDING THE SERVICES OF AN ATTORNEY. THERE WERE OVER 200 PARTICIPATING ATTORNEYS.
CLE PROGRAMS FOR THE BAR YEAR WERE HELD IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY. THERE WERE 10 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINARS OFFERING OVER 75.5 HOURS OF CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION ON A NUMBER OF TOPICS, PRESENTED TO BY 131 SPEAKERS. IN ADDITION, 93 WEBINARS AND ON-DEMANDS WERE OFFERED TOTALING 150.5 HOURS OF CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION, PRESENTED TO A COMBINED TOTAL OF 4,286 ATTENDEES.
PUBLICATION OF THE ARKANSAS LAWYER, A PROFESSIONAL MAGAZINE FOR ATTORNEYS; 16,530 COPIES WERE PUBLISHED IN FOUR QUARTERLY ISSUES.
