PROMOTE AND ADVANCE AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS AND RELATED FACILITIES FOR LOW INCOME RESIDENTS OF LINCOLN, NEBRASKA, BY FINANCING THE ACQUISTION, CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION OF ONE OR MORE FACILITIES LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LINCOLN. 2. PROVIDE AND IMPROVE LIVING CONDITIONS FOR SUCH RESIDENTS BY PROVDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING THROUGH RENT SUBSIDY PROGRAMS PROVIDED BY THE US GOVERNMENT AND THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPEMENT. 3. TO HOLD TITLE TO CERTAIN DWELLINGS AND REAL ESTATE WITHIN THE CITY OF LINCOLN, AND TO LEASE SUCH PROPERTIES TO THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LINCOLN TO BE USED IN PROVIDING LOW INCOME HOUSING PURSUANT TO EXISTING LAWS OF NEBRASKA AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. 4.
