THE MISSION OF GATEWAY OF HOPE MINISTRIES IS TO PROVIDE HIGH-QUALITY, SAFE AND AFFORDABLE COUNSELING AND THERAPY SERVICES TO WOMEN IN ALL SITUATIONS. COUNSELING FEES ARE SIGNIFICANTLY BELOW THE AREA'S AVERAGE MARKET RATES, TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO WOMEN WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THEM. COUNSELING IN BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP SETTINGS IS PROVIDED BY LICENSED PROFESSIONALS IN A PERSONAL, WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT. IN RECENT YEARS A STRONG OUTREACH TO LATINA AND ALL WOMEN OF COLOR HAS FLOURISHED WITH MULTICULTURAL LEADERSHIP AND STAFF DIVERSITY. THE ORGANIZATION IS GROWING DUE TO ITS EXPERTISE AND UNIQUE FOCUS AREAS, WITH BROADER AWARENESS OF MENTAL HEALTH ALSO CREATING NEW DEMAND AMONG WOMEN WHO PREVIOUSLY DID NOT THINK COUNSELING WAS ACCESSIBLE.
