COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT - THE ORGANIZATION'S HOUSING PROGRAM PROVIDES REHABILITATED HOMES TO LOW AND MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES IN CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY, AND IS SUPPORTED PRIMARILY THROUGH DONOR CONTRIBUTIONS, GRANTS, AND FUNDRAISING. THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTS QUALIFIED BUYERS OBTAIN MORTGAGES FROM REPUTABLE LENDERS FOR COMPLETED PROPERTIES, AND, FOR SOME PROPERTIES, IS THEMSELVES THE LENDER VIA EITHER A MORTGAGE OR LEASE TO OWN ARRANGEMENT. IN ADDITION TO HOUSING, THE ORGANIZATION FOCUSES ON FULL NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION VIA NON-HOUSING NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECTS AND PARTNERSHIPS.
COMMUNITY SERVICE - THROUGH COVID RELIEF AND DISTRIBUTION, THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH THE COMMUNITY THEY SERVE AND PARTICIPATES IN VARIOUS FORUMS TO DISCUSS THE NEEDS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD INCLUDING AN ANNUAL THANKSGIVING FOOD DISTRIBUTION, CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE, COMMUNITY GYM, AND YOUTH PROGRAMMING.
