Part 3 - Line 4a
AFTER BEING SHUTTERED FOR 18 MONTHS WE REOPENED ON JUNE 1, 2021 HOSTING LIVE PERFORMANCES. WE WERE ABLE TO HOST LOCAL AREA PERFORMERS, SPEAKERS AND MOVIES THROUGH THE SUMMER AND BY FALL WE BROUGHT IN SOME PERFORMERS THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY CONTRACTED FOR 2020. COVID PRECAUTIONS STILL PLAYED A ROLL IN AUDIENCE SIZES AS WE NAVIGATED THROUGH RESTRICTIONS BEING LIFTED AND RE-ENFORCED. WE INSTALLED LIVE STREAMING EQUIPMENT AND UTILIZED IT SEVERAL TIMES LATE IN 2021 TO AUDIENCE MEMBERS THAT WERE UNABLE TO ATTEND EITHER DUE TO RESTRICTIONS OR DUE TO BEING OUT OF THE AREA. WE WERE ABLE TO INSTALL THIS EQUIPMENT WITH HELP FROM TWO GRANTS RECEIVED FROM THE NORTHERN NEW YORK COMMUNITY FOUNDATION AND THE JOHN BEN SNOW MEMORIAL TRUST FOUNDATION. WE WERE ALSO SUCCESSFUL IN OBTAINING A SHUTTERED VENUES OPERATOR GRANT WHICH WE ARE USING TO FUND A PORTION OF OUR EXPENSES PROSPECTIVELY.WE HAVE A FULL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS PLANNED FOR 2022 AS WE APPEAR TO BE RETURNING TO MORE NORMALCY. WE HAVE OVER 80 EVENTS SCHEDULED FOR THIS YEAR THAT INCLUDE TIPAF PERFORMANCES, RENTALS, CLAYTON COMMUNITY BAND PERFORMANCES AND WEDDINGS. WE HAVE PARTNERED WITH THE THOUSAND ISLANDS MUSEUM TO HOST SOME OF THEIR SPEAKERS IN OUR UPSTAIRS BALLROOM TO ALLOW FOR A MORE COMFORTABLE SPACING OF ATTENDEES. THESE SPEAKERS ARE HONORING CLAYTON'S SESQUICENTENNIAL IN 2022.
