SEE SCHEDULE "O"PLAYWRIGHTS HORIZONS DEVELOPS AND PRODUCES THE NEW WORK OF EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED PLAYWRIGHTS AND MUSICAL THEATER ARTISTS THROUGH A SERIES OF DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAMS AND FIVE OR SIX FULL PRODUCTIONS ANNUALLY. WE ALSO HAVE INITIATIVES TO ENGAGE AND EDUCATE CURRENT AND FUTURE AUDIENCES, AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AIMED AT ASPIRING THEATER ARTISTS THROUGH OUR THEATER SCHOOL AND FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS. PRODUCTION AND PLAY DEVELOPMENT:THIS PROGRAM CONSISTS OF DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION AND PRESENTATION OF NEW WORKS BY U.S. PLAYWRIGHTS, COMPOSERS AND LYRICISTS, INCLUDING PRODUCTIONS, WORKSHOPS AND READINGS. THERE WERE 5 FULL THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS,AND 9 READINGS.
THEATER SCHOOL:OPERATED IN ASSOCIATION WITH NEW YORK UNIVERSITY'S TISCH SCHOOL OF THE ARTS, THIS UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM OFFERS TRAINING IN PLAYWRITING, DIRECTING, ACTING, VOICE AND THEATER MANAGEMENT. THE THEATER SCHOOL HAD 170 STUDENTS IN THE YEAR ENDING JUNE, 2022.
TICKET CENTRAL:TICKET CENTRAL HAD BEEN A CENTRALIZED AND LOW-COST BOX OFFICE FOR PERFORMING ARTS ORGANIZATIONS UNTIL 2020. CURRENTLY, IT MAINLY PROVIDES EMAIL MARKETING RESOURCES FOR OTHER PERFORMING ARTS ORGANIZATIONS AND SELLS TICKETS FOR PLAYWRIGHTS HORIZONS, INC.
