Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

MOTH MAINSTAGECURATED STORYTELLING PROGRAMS AROUND THE COUNTRY FOCUSED ON A PARTICULAR THEME. STORYTELLERS DEVELOP A 10-12 MINUTE STORY WITH MOTH ARTISTIC STAFF. IN 2021, THERE WERE 20 MAINSTAGE SHOWS WITH 100 STORIES TOLD IN CITIES, REACHING AN AUDIENCE OF APPROXIMATELY 40,000.


THE MOTH RADIO HOURTHE MOTH, TOGETHER WITH PARTNERS PRX AND ATLANTIC PUBLIC MEDIA, PRODUCE 25+ NEW EPISODES OF "THE MOTH RADIO HOUR" EACH YEAR. EPISODES AIR ALTERNATELY WITH A BACK-CATALOG OF ARCHIVE EPISODES TO ENSURE A WEEKLY OFFERING. EVERY EPISODE FEATURES THREE TO SEVEN STORIES, EACH BETWEEN APPROXIMATELY 5 AND 15 MINUTES IN DURATION. THE RADIO HOUR IS 53-MINUTES IN DURATION WITH A NEWS-HOLE FORMAT. "THE MOTH RADIO HOUR" IS BROADCAST ON 580 RADIO STATIONS, ACROSS THE U.S. AND AUSTRALIA, REACHING A BROAD AUDIENCE.
