EDUCATION PROGRAM: LARC SCHOOL PROVIDES A DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION AND TREATMENT FOR CHILDREN AGES 3-21 WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS IN MOTOR & COGNITIVE SKILLS, SOCIAL GROWTH, SPEECH AND LANGUAGE. THE CURRICULUM AND SCHOOL CLIMATE ARE DESIGNED TO INSPIRE STUDENTS TO LOVE LEARNING, INVEST THEMSELVES IN THEIR EDUCATION, AND TO EMPOWER THEM TO MAXIMIZE THEIR INDEPENDENCE AND QUALITY OF LIFE. THE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM OFFERS A LANGUAGE ENRICHED ENVIRONMENT, INDIVIDUALIZED MULTI-SENSORY CURRICULUM AND TOTAL COMMUNICATION APPROACH THROUGH PLAY-BASED LEARNING IN A NURTURING AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. THE PRIMARY/INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM PROVIDES A STRONG FOCUS ON FUNCTIONAL ACADEMICS AND AGE-APPROPRIATE SOCIAL SKILLS FOR CHILDREN AGES 5 TO 13.
