THE CALAIS SCHOOL AND ITS STAFF ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING ALL STUDENTS WITH ACADEMIC AND BEHAVIORAL SKILLS TO REACH THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL AND BECOME LIFE-LONG LEARNERS AND SOCIALLY COMPETENT MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES.

THE CALAIS SCHOOL (A NEW JERSEY NONPROFIT CORPORATION), IS AN APPROVED NEW JERSEY STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PRIVATE SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES. THE SCHOOL'S PROGRAM IS UTILIZED BY THE NEW JERSEY PUBLIC SCHOOL SENDING DISTRICTS THAT ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE SPECIALIZED CARE NECESSARY TO EDUCATE THESE STUDENTS. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS CLASSIFIED AS EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 21. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, AND ACADEMIC GROWTH FOR EACH STUDENT.
