THE FOUNDATION PARTICIPATES IN CHARITABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WITHIN ECONOMICALLY DEPRESSED AREAS OF THE HOUSTON REGION TO ENCOURAGE RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION OF JOBS. THE FOUNDATION WORKS TO TARGET JOB CREATION AND NEW INVESTMENT IN THESE AREAS THAT HISTORICALLY HAVE LOW CAPITAL INVESTMENT AND JOB GROWTH. BY WORKIN WITH EXISTING COMPANIES AND PROMOTING THE HOUSTON REGION TO PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYERS, THE FOUNDATION CONTRIBUTES TO INCREASE JOB CREATION AND INVESTMENTS THAT PREVENT AND FIGHT COMMUNITY DETERIORATION.
