OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY OF OUR REGIONS COASTAL COMMUNITIES OF ALUTIIQ HERITAGE. WE DO THIS IN THREE WAYS, 1. LEADERSHIP & ADVOCACY, 2. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, AND 3. OUR STORIES.

ALUTIIQ GROWN IS A COLLECTIVE OF TRIBAL AND COMMUNITY OWNED FARMS LOCATED IN THE KODIAK ARCHIPELAGO, ALASKA OFF-ROAD SYSTEM COMMUNITIES OF LARSEN BAY, OLD HARBOR, OUZINKIE, PORT LIONS, AND THE CITY OF KODIAK. OUR MISSION IS TO INCREASE OUR REGIONS FOOD SECURITY THROUGH PROVIDING FRESH AND LOCAL FOODS TO ELDERS AND COMMUNITY RESIDENTS. FROM HYDROPONICS AND SOIL FARMING, TO RAISING CHICKENS, AND MORE WE ARE HERE TO FEED OUR PEOPLE.


MARICULTURE- SUPPORT TRAINING AND STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR OUR REGION'S COASTAL COMMUNITIES TO BEGIN KELP FARMS.
