PROVIDED GRANTS AND AWARDS TO WRITERS, BROADCASTERS AND JOURNALISTS WHO DESCRIBE, DOCUMENT AND EXPOSE HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS AND ABUSES THAT DO NOT COMMONLY APPEAR IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA.
WE RAISE FUNDS THROUGH DONATIONS AS WELL AS THE SALE OF PALESTINIAN PRODUCTS TO HELP SUPPORT THE ECONOMY. ALL PROCEEDS SUPPORT HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCACY AND REPORTING IN PALESTINE. THE REPORTING IS ALSO PUBLISHED IN A PERIODIC NEWSLETTER THAT SUPPORTED BY DONATIONS AND WHICH HELPS TO RAISE FUNDS.
WE PROVIDED GRANTS FOR CHILDREN'S SUMMER ACTIVITY PROGRAMS IN THE PALESTINIAN WEST BANK, PROSTHESIS FOR DISABLED PALESTINIANS IN GAZA, TREE PLANTING PROJECTS ON PALESTINIAN LANDS IN THE WEST BANK, PRESENTATIONS BY PALESTINIAN REFUGEES IN LEBANON, TRAVEL FOR VOLUNTEER DELEGATIONS TO CUBA AND VENEZUELA, TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH OF SPANISH LANGUAGE ARTICLES AND REPORTAGE OF LATIN AMERICAN NEWS NOT OTHERWISE COVERED IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE MEDIA.
