SEE SCHEDULE OWORLD STAGE THEATRE IS A MULTICULTURAL, MULTIDISCIPLINARY, INTERGENERATIONAL, AND INTERDISCIPLINARY, ARTS ORGANIZATION. THROUGH ARTS, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY, WORLD STAGE THEATRE CREATES PLATFORMS TO AMPLIFY DISREGARDED VOICES WHILE BUILDING BRIDGES OF UNITY TO DISBAND ISMS. WORLD STAGE THEATRE WORKS WITH THOUSANDS OF YOUTH THROUGH IMAGINATION EXPRESS ARTS EDUCATION; WORKSHOPS, LIVE PERFORMANCES, IN-SCHOOL AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, CAMPS AND CLASSROOM SETTINGS. OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDES THE WHO I AM CELEBRATING ME PRODUCTION, BLACK HISTORY FESTIVAL NW, TRUE COLORS NEXT NARRATIVE MONOLOGUE COMPETITION (FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE AUGUST WILSON MONOLOGUE COMPETITION), VARIOUS PRODUCTIONS, COMMUNITY CLASSES, AND EVENTS HELD IN THE ORGANIZATIONS NEWLY ACQUIRED SPACE. WORLD STAGE THEATRE IS COMMITTED TO CREATING A COMMUNITY AND CULTURE WHERE IMAGINATION, EXPLORATION, CREATIVITY, AND GROWTH THRIVE.

IN 2022, WORLD STAGE THEATRE WORKED WITH YOUTH THROUGH IMAGINATION EXPRESS ARTS EDUCATION, A PROGRAM DEVELOPED FOR THE CLASSROOM, WORKSHOPS, AND CAMPS FOR STUDENTS OF ALL LEVELS TO EXPLORE THEATRE ARTS. OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDED THE NEXT NARRATIVE MONOLOGUE COMPETITION (FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE AUGUST WILSON MONOLOGUE COMPETITION) AND THE 5TH ANNUAL BLACK HISTORY CULTURAL AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL. THE BLACK HISTORY FESTIVAL SHOWCASED ARTISTS, ORGANIZATIONS, BUSINESSES AND TEACHERS OF THE AFRICAN DIASPORA, AND INCLUDED PERFORMANCES OF "WHO I AM CELEBRATING ME." DUE TO COVID, THE PROGRAM WAS ABBREVIATED AND RAN AS A HYBRID EVENT.
