THE MISSION OF THE TACOMA ARTS LIVE IS TO ENERGIZE COMMUNITY THROUGH LIVE PERFORMANCE, ITS VISION IS A SOUTH SOUND COMMUNITY THAT CELEBRATES ALL CULTURES AND ENJOYS SHARED PROSPERITY. DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTH IS A MAIN PROGRAM ELEMENT THROUGH A WHOLE-CHILD LENS WITH EMPHASIS ON SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING AND CIVIL RIGHTS EDUCATION.

THIS INCLUDES 9,336 FROM SERVICES PROVIDED BY TACOMA ARTS LIVE DIRECTLY, COMPRISED OF LIVE PERFORMANCES AND EVENTS (2,318) AND EDUCATION THROUGH THE ARTS PROGRAMS (7,018). OUR EDUCATION THROUGH THE ARTS PROGRAMS DELIVERED TO 8 PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS, 5 PRIVATE SCHOOLS/INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS/COMMUNITY PARTNERS, AS WELL AS HOSTING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DIALOGUES SERVING THE SOUTH SOUND REGION OF WASHINGTON STATE. TACOMA ARTS LIVE ENABLES EIGHT TACOMA RESIDENT ARTS ORGANIZATIONS PLUS OTHER CIVIC AND OUTDOOR EVENTS, WHO COLLECTIVELY SERVED 113,571 IN VARIOUS VENUES.
