MIDTOWN INC IS A COMMUNITY RENEWAL ORGANIZATION SERVING AN AREA OF OVER 6 SQUARE MILES IN THE HEART OF COLUMBUS. MIDTOWN INCORPORATES, IN ADDITION TO RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS, SCHOOLS, PARKS, THE COLUMBUS MUSEUM, THE COLUMBUS PUBLIC LIBRARY, COMMERICAL OFFICE AND RETAIL DISTRICTS, AND THE INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS OF AFLAC. SOME OF MIDTOWN'S MANY PROJECTS INCLUDE ARMORY ON MACON ROAD, MIDTOWN MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION, AND THE SEARS/LIBRARY PROPERTY SITES.
