CONGREGATE NUTRITIONCONGREGATE (HOT, NUTRITIONALLY BALANCED) MEALS ARE PROVIDED TO SENIORS ON A SUGGESTED DONATION BASIS. 33,721 MEALS WERE PROVIDED TO SENIOR CITIZENS AT LOCAL SENIOR CENTERS IN OKANOGAN, CHELAN, DOUGLAS, AND LINCOLN COUNTIES. CONGREGATE MEALS ARE OFFERED ON DIFFERENT DAYS IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS WITHIN OUR SERVICE AREAS ACCORDING TO THE DENSITY OF POPULATION. SERVING DAYS VARY FROM 5 DAYS PER WEEK TO 2 DAYS PER WEEK.
HOME DELIVERED NUTRITIONHOME DELIVERED MEALS ARE PROVIDED TO SENIORS WHO ARE HOMEBOUND ON A SUGGESTED DONATION BASIS. 54,001 MEALS WERE PROVIDED TO INDIVIDUALS OVER 60 YEARS OF AGE WHO QUALIFIED FOR HOME DELIVERY, BEING UNABLE TO LEAVE THEIR HOMES IN OKANOGAN, CHELAN, DOUGLAS, AND LINCOLN COUNTIES. HOMEBOUND SENIORS ARE OFFERED 1 MEAL PER DAY IF NEEDED.
