THE HHV-6 FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT ENTITY FOUNDED TO ENCOURAGE SCIENTIFIC EXCHANGE BETWEEN SCIENTISTS AND TO PROVIDE PILOT GRANTS FOR PROMISING SCIENTIFIC AND CLINICAL RESEARCH.THE FIRST PRIORITY OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND REAGENTS TO INVESTIGATORS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN STUDYING HHV-6. WE MAINTAIN A REPOSITORY OF REAGENTS INCLUDING MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES,COSMIDS, HYBRIDOMAS, CELL LINES AND VIRAL LYSATES THAT ARE DONATED BY INVESTIGATORS AROUND THE WORLD, AND WE MAKE THESE VALUABLE RESEARCH MATERIALS AVAILABLE TO RESEARCHERS FREE OF CHARGE. WE ARRANGECOLLABORATIONS BETWEEN INVESTIGATORS, HOST CONFERENCES AND COORDINATE INITIATIVES AMONG INVESTIGATORS TO DEVELOP CONSENSUS ON ISSUES RELATING TO HHV-6.
