OUR CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE SUPPORT FOR WIKIPEDIA.ORG AND THE OTHERWIKIMEDIA WEBSITES, WHICH TOGETHER ARE ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOSTPOPULAR WEB PROPERTIES, AND THE WORLD'S LARGEST COLLABORATIVE FREEKNOWLEDGE PROJECT. THE WIKIMEDIA FOUNDATION PROVIDES THE SERVERSAND ELECTRICITY NEEDED TO KEEP THE WEBSITES RUNNING, ALONG WITHDEDICATED TECHNICAL RESOURCES TO BUILD, IMPROVE, AND MAINTAIN THETECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF WIKIMEDIA PROJECTS. THESE ONGOINGENGINEERING EFFORTS AND PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRE RESEARCH ANDDESIGN WORK, AS WELL AS LEGAL SUPPORT.
