THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES THE 24-BEDROOM RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE, THE 7-BEDROOM HOUSE WITHIN THE HOSPITAL, AND 2 SLEEPING ROOMS AT UNITY HOSPITAL. THESE FACILITIES PROVIDE TEMPORARY LODGING TO FAMILIES OF ILL OR INJURED CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 21. THE WESTMORELAND HOUSE IS NEAR STRONG MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND THE HOUSE WITHIN THE HOSPITAL IS PHYSICALLY LOCATED WITHIN THE HOSPITAL. IN 2023, THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE AT WESTMORELAND PROVIDED A TOTAL OF 6,378 FAMILY NIGHTS, THE HOUSE WITHIN THE HOSPITAL PROVIDED 1,889 FAMILY NIGHTS AND THE FAMILY ROOM AT UNITY PROVIDED 11 FAMILY NIGHTS. (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS WHICH INCLUDED MAKE A MEAL GROUPS AT THE WESTMORELAND HOUSE WHICH RECEIVED 358 DONATED MEALS AND OUR HOUSE WITHIN THE HOSPITAL RECEIVED 254 DONATED MEALS. WE HAVE ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER IN OUR FAMILY ROOMS LOCATED IN GOLISANO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, UNITY HOSPITAL AND OUR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAMILY ROOM LOCATED IN STRONG HOSPITAL. ADDITIONALLY, OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERS ARE AVAILABLE AT OUR AC6 CART LOCATED ON THE AMBULATORY CARE UNIT AT STRONG HOSPITAL AND AT THE WESTMORELAND HOUSE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAS 4-DAY USE PROGRAMS: THE FAMILY ROOM AT GOLISANO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, THE MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAMILY ROOM, THE FAMILY ROOM AT UNITY HOSPITAL, AND THE OUTPATIENT COMFORT CART AT STRONG MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. THE FAMILY ROOM AT GOLISANO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL PROVIDED FOOD AND RESPITE TO 2,231 VISITORS. THE FAMILY ROOM AT UNITY PROVIDED FOOD AND RESPITE FOR 295 VISITORS. THE MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAMILY ROOM WAS CLOSED DURING 2023 DUE TO RENOVATIONS AND IS ANTICIPATED TO REOPEN IN JUNE 2024. THE COMFORT CART PROVIDED 4,800 HEALTHY SNACK BAGS TO PEDIATRIC PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES ON AMBULATORY CARE UNITY. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED ITS SECOND ANNUAL FAMILY REUNION TO BRING FAMILIES TOGETHER AND ENJOY A DAY WITH THEIR LOVED ONES. FUNDS ARE SOLICITED THROUGH A VARIETY OF FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES.
