THE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY CARE FOR CHILDREN OF STUDENTS ATTENDING CLASSES AT THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK AT NEW PALTZ TO ENABLE THEM TO PURSUE THEIR DEGREES. THE CENTER STRIVES TO PROVIDE A LOVING AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT WHICH ENCOURAGES COOPERATION, SELF-EXPRESSION, AND RESPECT FOR OTHERS. THE CENTER CAN PROVIDE CARE FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 CHILDREN WHO ARE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 2 AND 5.
