FAMILY CHILDCARE: TO PROVIDE SUPPORT, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, TRANSPORTATION, TRAINING AND CHILDCARE SERVICES TO LICENSED FAMILY CHILDCARE EDUCATORS THROUGHOUT THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS. ENHANCING EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CARE PRACTICES AS WELL AS ENCOURAGING FAMILY ENGAGEMENT. SUPPORTING FAMILY CHILD CARE BUSINESS WITHIN THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. APPROXIMATELY 500 FAMILIES WERE SERVED DURING FISCAL YEAR 2021.TRAINING DEPARTMENT: TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO EDUCATORS AND STAFF AT ALL CAREER STAGES. ADDITIONALLY, THE TRAINING DEPARTMENT AIMS TO PROMOTE AGENCY GROWTH THROUGH PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO NON-AFFILIATED STAKEHOLDERS IN THE FIELD OF EARLY EDUCATION AND CARE IN MASSACHUSETTS.
NUTRITION: TO PROVIDE REIMBURSEMENT FOR MEALS SERVED TO CHILDREN ENROLLED WITH PARTICIPATING LICENSED FAMILY CHILD CARE EDUCATORS AND TO PROVIDE NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION TO THOSE EDUCATORS THROUGHOUT THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS. APPROXIMATELY 4,000 CHILDREN WERE SERVED DURING FISCAL YEAR 2021.
