COLLEGE INTERN TRAINING, PLACEMENT AND SUPPORT PROGRAM - 106 COLLEGE STUDENTS WERE SELECTED OUT OF HUNDREDS OF APPLICANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN ON-SITE TRAINING EVENTS ORGANIZED BY THE ORGANIZATION AND PLACED IN INTERNSHIPS WITH NEWS ORGANIZATION ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO COVERED TRAVEL COSTS AND PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO INTERNS DURING THEIR INTERNSHIPS.


COLLEGE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS - THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 1,500 SCHOLARSHIPS TO ELIGIBLE COLLEGE STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.


HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER JOURNALISM WORKSHOPS - THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FUNDING TO 11 EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO HOST SUMMER JOURNALISM WORKSHOPS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THEY ALSO AWARDED 1,500 SCHOLARSHIPS TO SEVERAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO WON A WRITING COMPETITION.
