PRINCETON UNIVERSITY PRESS (PUP) SEEKS TO PUBLISH THE INNOVATIVE WORKS OF THE GREATEST MINDS IN ACADEMIA, FROM THE MOST RESPECTED SENIOR SCHOLAR TO THE EXTRAORDINARILY PROMISING GRADUATE STUDENTS IN EACH OF THE DISCIPLINES IN WHICH WE PUBLISH. PUP CONSCIOUSLY ACQUIRES A COLLECTION OF TITLES - A COHERENT "LIST" OF BOOKS FROM EACH DISCIPLINE, PROVIDING FOCUS, CONTINUITY, AND A BASIS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE PUBLICATIONS. SINCE PUP'S INCEPTION IN 1905, THEY HAVE PUBLISHED MANY INFLUENTIAL, "FIELD-DEFINING" AWARD WINNING BOOKS. PUP CURRENTLY HAS 9,061 TITLES IN PRINT AND PUBLISHES OVER 463 TITLES ANNUALLY.
