THE NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF SMALL BUSINESS SERVICES (SBS) CREATED THE NEIGHBORHOOD 360 PROGRAM TO IDENTIFY, DEVELOP, AND LAUNCH COMMERCIAL REVITALIZATION PROJECTS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS. THROUGH PROACTIVE PLANNING AND TARGETED INVESTMENTS, NEIGHBORHOOD 360 SUPPORTS PROJECTS THAT STRENGTHEN AND REVITALIZE THE STREETS, SMALL BUSINESSES, AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS THAT ANCHOR NEW YORK CITY NEIGHBORHOODS.
NYC PARTNERSHIP. LAUNCHED IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PARTNERSHIP FOR NYC IN RESPONSE TO THE CRISIS FACING MANY OF THE CITY'S 230,000+ SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE WAKE OF COVID-19, THE STATEN ISLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE JOINED THE BROOKLYN, BRONX, MANHATTAN, AND QUEENS CHAMBERS TO LAUNCH THE SMALL BUSINESS RESOURCE NETWORK (SBRN), A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH TO STRENGTHENING NEW YORK CITY'S ECONOMY AND ACCELERATING THE RECOVERY OF SMALL BUSINESSES - STARTING WITH PERSONALIZED GUIDANCE AND ACCESS TO SPECIAL RESOURCES. THE FOUNDATION IS LEVERAGING ITS RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE CITY'S CORPORATE, FINANCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SECTORS, AS WELL AS UNIVERSITIES, PHILANTHROPIES AND EXPERT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS GAIN ACCESS TO A RANGE OF PROGRAMS AND SERVICES. CHAMBER ON THE GO. CHAMBER ON-THE-GO IS A MOBILE BUSINESS SUPPORT PROGRAM THAT INFORMS AND EDUCATES NEW YORK CITY SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS ON HOW TO ACCESS FREE SERVICES WITHOUT LEAVING THEIR STOREFRONT. YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR'S ACADEMY (YEA) - THE YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ACADEMY (YEA) IS A GROUNDBREAKING AND EXCITING PROGRAM THAT TRANSFORMS LOCAL MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS INTO REAL, CONFIDENT ENTREPRENEURS. EAST SHORE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (LDC). THE MISSION OF THE EAST SHORE LDC IS TO ENHANCE THE ECONOMY OF THE EAST SHORE BY PROMOTING PUBLIC AND PRIVATE INVESTMENT, VIA OUTREACH AND EDUCATION, ENCOURAGING THE REDEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY IN AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MANNER, AND PROVIDING BEAUTIFICATION AND SECURITY SERVICES TO MAKE THE AREA MORE APPEALING FOR ALL RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES.
