CLINICAL/MEDICAL SERVICES APICHA COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER CHC IS A PATIENT-CENTERED MEDICAL HOME AS RECOGNIZED BY THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE ON QUALITY ASSURANCE. THROUGHOUT THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, EVEN IN THE EARLY PHASE WHEN NEW YORK STATE NONESSENTIAL BUSINESSES WERE SHUTTERED, APICHA CHC REMAINED OPEN AND PROVIDED ADDITIONAL ACCESS TO PATIENTS VIA TELEHEALTH. A DESIGNATED FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTER, APICHA CHC PROVIDED COMPREHENSIVE PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE, SPECIALTY HIV PRIMARY CARE, SPECIALTY TRANSGENDER HEALTH CARE, PREP AND PEP SERVICES, AND FAMILY PLANNING.
