TO ACHIEVE OUR MISSION, OUR GOALS ARE TO ESTABLISH, ENDORSE, AND PROMOTE PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES, STANDARDS, AND ETHICS IN THE PHOTOGRAPHIC AND ADVERTISING COMMUNITY; TO MENTOR, MOTIVATE, EDUCATE AND INSPIRE IN THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE; TO CHAMPION AND SPEAK AS ONE COMMON VOICE FOR THE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS AND IMAGES MAKERS TO THE ADVERTISING AND CREATIVE INDUSTRIES IN THE UNITED STATES AND THE WORLD

AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTISTS, INC., (APA) SERVES AS A LEADING RESOURCE FOR IMAGING-MAKING PROFESSIONALS OFFERING OUTSTANDING BENEFITS TO OVER 2100 MEMBERS AS WELL AS THE INDUSTRY AT-LARGE BY PROVIDING ESSENTIAL TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO HELP THEM EXCEL IN BUSINESS AND ACHIEVE THEIR CREATIVE GOALS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH STRONG ADVOCACY, PROFESSIONALLY PRODUCED PROGRAMS, OUTREACH ACTIVITIES, INTERNET PROGRAMS, ONLINE FORUMS, PUBLICATIONS, LECTURES, PHOTO COMPETITIONS, PORTFOLIO REVIEWS, EXHIBITIONS AND SEMINARS GEARED TO STIMULATE AND ENHANCE THE BUSINESS AND CREATIVITY OF PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND OTHER IMAGE-MAKING PROFESSIONALS. OUR EFFORTS ON DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS HAS HAD BROAD INDUSTRY REACH AND IMPACT.
