QUILTCON, OUR ANNUAL CONVENTION, WHICH CONNECTS QUILTING ENTHUSIASTS OF ALL AGES, WAS HELD IN FEBRUARY 2023 IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA. THE 2023 EVENT HAD MORE THAN 195 LECTURERS, WORKSHOPS, AND SOCIAL EVENTS AND ATTRACTED APPROXIMATELY 8,300 ATTENDEES FROM 50 US STATES AND SEVERAL COUNTRIES. THE EVENT FEATURED MORE THAN 600 DISPLAYED QUILTS, INCLUDING A SPECIAL EXHIBIT CREATED BY ATLANTA'S OWN BROWN SUGAR STITCHERS.
THE MODERN QUILT GUILD IS AN ARTS-BASED MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION WITH OVER 18,000 MEMBERS WORLDWIDE. THE MODERN QUILT GUILD PROVIDES ONLINE COMMUNITY RESOURCES, PATTERNS, EDUCATION, AND OTHER BENEFITS TO ALL MEMBERS.
