RESIDENTIAL SERVICES - OPERATE AND MAINTAIN SUPERVISED AND SUPPORTIVE RESIDENTIAL HOUSING TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION SERVICES TO DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED AUTISTIC PEOPLE. OUR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS MEET THE NEEDS OF THE PERSONS BASED ON SENSITIVITIES AND TYPES OF NEEDED STRUCTURE, ABILITIES AND CHOICES. EVERY PERSON IS INVOLVED IN SETTING THEIR OWN GOALS AND DETERMINING THE COURSE OF THEIR LIVES WITH THE HELP OF OUR STAFF. AS AN AGENCY WE PLACE HIGH VALUE ON SOCIALIZATION, RECREATION, INCLUSION, AND QUALITY OF LIFE.
DAY HABILITATION SERVICES - ONCE PEOPLE HAVE AGED OUT OF SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAMS, DAY HABILITATION CONTINUES TO REINFORCE THE EVERYDAY SKILLS NECESSARY TO SUCCESSFULLY FUNCTION IN THE WORLD AROUND US. WE PLACE A PRIORITY ON OUR DAY HABILITATION PARTICIPANTS SPENDING MORE TIME IN THE COMMUNITY, ALONG WITH OTHER TIME BEING FOCUSED ON LEARNING LIFE SKILLS.
OTHER PROGRAMS SERVICES INCLUDED COMMUNITY HABILITATION AND RESPITE. COMMUNITY HABILITATION IS PROVIDED TO FACILITATE COMMUNITY INCLUSION, INTEGRATION AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS. INDIVIDUALIZED TRAINING CONCENTRATES IN AREAS OF ADAPTIVE LIVING SKILLS AND BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT. RESPITE PROGRAMING ALLOWS FAMILIES OF PEOPLE ON THE AUTISTIC SPECTRUM WHO LIVE AT HOME TO CONDUCT DAILY ACTIVITIES WHILE ENGAGING THE PERSON ON THE SPECTRUM IN MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES.
