RESIDENTIAL SERVICES - COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR EVERY1, INC. OFFERS A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT HOUSING OPTIONS TO MEET EVERY PERSON'S NEEDS. OUR RESIDENCES ARE INVITING AND HAVE COMFORTABLE HOMES THAT RANGE FROM INDEPENDENT LIVING OPTIONS TO HOUSES WITH 24-HOUR STAFF ASSISTANCE. GROUP-STYLE IRAS HAVE 24-HOUR ON-SITE STAFF SUPPORT. APARTMENT-STYLE IRAS HAVE TWO LEVELS OF ON-SITE STAFF SUPERVISION WITH A SUPPORTED (STAFF ON-SITE 24/7) SETTING. OUR EMERGENCY RESIDENCE CAN PROVIDE TEMPORARY HOUSING TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES WHO ARE IN NEED OF A PLACE TO LIVE. GROUP DAY HAB SERVICES - COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR EVERY1, INC. OFFERS THREE CERTIFIED DAY HABILITATION SITE-BASED PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. OUR CERTIFIED PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY AT OUR 2180 GENESEE STREET, 1377 ABBOTT ROAD, AND 175 HUMPHREY STREET LOCATIONS. ALL PROGRAMS OFFER RECREATION AND ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES. TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED TO AND FROM THE FACILITIES. DAY HABILITATION PROGRAMS FOCUS ON SKILLS AND ACTIVITIES THAT LEAD TO INCREASED INDEPENDENCE IN THE HOME, SCHOOL, JOB, AND COMMUNITY. PROGRAMS ARE SITE-BASED AND COMMUNITY-BASED. PLANS ARE DEVELOPED TOWARD ACCOMPLISHING AMBITIONS AND GOALS, INCLUDING ONE-ON-ONE INSTRUCTION IF NEEDED. OTHER DAY HABILITATION OFFERINGS INCLUDE DRIVER READINESS PROGRAM, MOVIE NIGHTS, BOWLING LEAGUES, DANCES, OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER IN THE COMMUNITY, AND PARTICIPATION IN WOMEN AND/OR MEN ONLY BASED GROUPS WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. ADULTS AGE 50+ WHO HAVE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES WILL REQUIRE SPECIAL SUPPORTS SUCH AS DAY PROGRAMS, RESPITE SERVICES, FUTURE LIFE PLANNING, HEALTHCARE SERVICES AND RESIDENTIAL PLACEMENT. WE PLACE AN EMPHASIS ON MEETING MEDICAL NEEDS AND ENSURING DELIVERY OF YOUR SENIOR BENEFITS. OUR SERVICE COORDINATORS PROVIDE LINKAGE TO SENIOR DAY PROGRAMS, RETIREMENT PROGRAMS, HOUSING AND MEDICAL SERVICES TO GIVE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY PEACE OF MIND. OUR SPECIALIZED CASE MANAGEMENT PROVIDES SERVICES TO YOUTH AND ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, WHO HAVE A SUBSTANCE ABUSE HISTORY, ARE CONSIDERED AT-RISK, OR WHO ARE INVOLVED IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM. CLINICAL SERVICES:INTENSIVE BEHAVIORAL SERVICES PROVIDES SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS THAT PRESENT SIGNIFICANT AT RISK BEHAVIORS WHICH MAY IMPACT THEIR ABILITY TO SUCCESSFULLY REMAIN IN THEIR CURRENT LIVING SITUATION. THE INTENSIVE BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST WILL WORK WITH THE INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY MEMBER AND/OR CARE PROVIDER IN THEIR HOME TO IDENTIFY EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES TO DECREASE BEHAVIORS. THE INTENSIVE BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST WILL PROVIDE EXTENSIVE TRAINING IN THE HOME TO AIDE FAMILIES AND CARE PROVIDERS IN GAINING THE NECESSARY CONFIDENCE IN IMPLEMENTING STRATEGIES THAT WILL KEEP THEIR LOVED ONE SAFE AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THEIR HOME LIFE. THE OVERALL GOAL OF THIS UNIQUE PROGRAM IS TO HELP THE INDIVIDUAL REMAIN IN THEIR CURRENT HOME SETTING WHENEVER POSSIBLE. INTENSIVE BEHAVIORAL SERVICES IS A TIME-LIMITED SERVICE WITH FUNDING FOR UP TO SIX MONTHS FOR BEHAVIORAL SUPPORTS AND IS AVAILABLE FOR PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN NON-CERTIFIED SETTINGS OR IN FAMILY CARE HOME.IN-HOME BEHAVIOR SUPPORT - THIS UNIQUE, FAMILY-CENTERED PROGRAM ALLOWS FOR BEHAVIORAL CLINICAL SUPPORTS IN THE HOME WHERE A PLAN CAN BE DEVELOPED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FAMILY TO REDUCE OR ELIMINATE UNWANTED BEHAVIORS. A BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST IS ASSIGNED TO MEET WITH THE INDIVIDUAL AND THEIR FAMILY TO ASSESS BEHAVIORS, DEVELOP A STRATEGY, TRAIN THE INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY IN SUCCESSFUL TECHNIQUES AND CARRY OUT THE DEVELOPED BEHAVIOR PLAN. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN THE HOME TO CREATE SUCCESS IN A SAFE AND FAMILIAR ENVIRONMENT.OTHER PROGRAMMING OPTIONS:BUDGETING PROGRAM - THE BUDGETING PROGRAM AT COMMUNITY SERVICES OFFERS REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE SERVICES ALONG WITH EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO HELP INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE 18 YEARS OR OLDER GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR FINANCES.OUR BUDGETING STAFF CAN WORK ON A VARIETY OF FINANCIAL GOALS INCLUDING COIN RECOGNITION, BALANCING A CHECKBOOK, PAYING BILLS, AND WRITING CHECK REQUESTS. THE BUDGETING STAFF TEACHES HOW TO BUILD A SAVINGS PLAN AND HOW TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN WANTS AND NEEDS WHEN PLANNING EXPENSES. INDIVIDUALS CAN RECEIVE SERVICES IN THE COMMUNITY AND/OR AT THEIR HOME. GROUP CLASSES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.PROJECT C.O.A.C.H. PROVIDES AFTER HOURS TELEPHONE COUNSELING, REFERRAL, OUTREACH AND INTERVENTION/PREVENTION TO PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY. THIS SERVICE IS OFFERED TO THOSE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING A CRISIS OR ARE ISOLATED AND REQUIRE PREVENTION THROUGH TELEPHONE CONTACT. COACH STAFF CAN ALSO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH MEDICATION REMINDERS AND DO WELLNESS CHECK CALLS TO PREVENT ISOLATION AND LONELINESS.VICTIM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM THE VICTIM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (VAP) OFFERS NON-JUDGMENTAL, CONFIDENTIAL SERVICES TO HELP VICTIMS RECEIVE FROM CRIME AND ASSIST THEM THROUGH THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROCESS. THE PROGRAM SPECIALIZES IN ASSISTING VICTIMS OF CRIME THAT HAVE AN INTELLECTUAL OR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY WITH A FOCUS ON SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THE VAP'S CASEWORK EMPOWERMENT LIAISON CAN ASSIST WITH SEEKING VICTIM COMPENSATION THROUGH OVS, PROVIDE COURT ACCOMPANIMENT AND ADVOCACY, ASSIST IN OBTAINING CIVIL ORDERS OF PROTECTION, AND PROVIDE INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WITH DISABILITIES TO HELP THEM OBTAIN THE RESOURCES AND BUILD THE SKILLS NEEDED TO MAINTAIN THEIR SAFETY.FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES TRANSPORTATION CONTRACT - THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO ASSIST THOSE WHO HAVE LIMITED ACCESS TO ADEQUATE TRANSPORTATION GET TO THEIR DESIRED DESTINATION. THOSE WHO ARE OPWDD ELIGIBLE AND LIVE WITH FAMILY MAY QUALIFY FOR TRANSPORTATION TO DESTINATIONS ON EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS, PROVIDED THERE ARE NO OTHER TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS. FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN RURAL AREAS WHERE TRANSPORTATION IS GENERALLY LIMITED, THIS PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE DURING DAYTIME HOURS AS WELL.DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED OFFENDER PROGRAM (DDOP) - COMMUNITY SERVICES HAS WESTERN NEW YORK'S ONLY DD OFFENDER PROGRAM DEDICATED TO HELPING INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES TO NAVIGATE THE VARIOUS STAGES OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SPECIALIZED CASE MANAGEMENT TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THAT ARE INVOLVED IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM OR ARE AT RISK FOR BECOMING INVOLVED IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM.
