THE KOHALA VILLAGE HUB OFFERS A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS. THE ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED AS COMMUNITY CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, KIDS CAMPS, AND EDUCATIONAL RETREATS THAT FOCUS ON THE THEMES OF FOOD, ARTS, CULTURE AND ECOLOGY. THE CLASSES INCLUDE HOMESCHOOL ENRICHMENT, EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT, BODY MOVEMENT AND HEALTH CLASSES, FINE ARTS, AND PERFORMING ARTS.
DAY CAMPS AND RETREATS. OUR DAYTIME CAMPS ARE FACILITATED DURING THE SCHOOL BREAK AND FOCUS ON KIDS RANGING FROM 8-13 YEARS OLD, ACTIVITIES INCLUDE KOHALA CULTURAL PRESERVATION FOCUSES LIKE PANIOLO (RANCHING) CULTURE, CULTURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, DANCE, ART, AND MUSIC. RETREATS ARE CULTURE BASED AND USUALLY INCLUDE 3-15 NIGHTS OF ACCOMMODATIONS, MEALS AND ACTIVITIES.
WORKSHOPS. WORKSHOPS INCLUDE COOKING, FARMING, HEALTH, AND BODY MOVEMENT (YOGA, TAI CHI, ETC.).
