21ST CENTURY LEARNING CENTER: THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES AFTER-SCHOOL ACADEMIC AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS TO LOCAL YOUTH. THE PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY A GOVERNMENT GRANT FROM THE PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION THROUGH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF BOROUGH OF MORRISVILLE, BRISTOL BOROUGH SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE BUCKS COUNTY TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL.
STAYING PUT/FAITH IN ACION: THE STAYING PUT PROGRAM IS A FEE FOR SERVICE PROGRAM TO HELP SENIORS IN THE BUCKS COUNTY AREA "AGE IN PLACE". THIS PROGRAM ASSISTS ELDERLY TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES WHEN THEY CAN NO LONGER DRIVE OR CAN'T TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH HOME MAINTENANCE.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS: THE IVINS HOUSE COMMUNITY PROGRAMS HELP TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND COORDINATION SERVICES OFFERED BY BUCKS COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICES AGENCIES THROUGH RESOURCE MATERIALS, REFERRAL OPTIONS AND PROGRAMS AND PRESENTATIONS. IN ADDITION, THE IVINS HOUSE HAS OTHER COMMUNITY PROGRAMS THAT CONSIST OF AN INTERGENERATIONAL EDUCATION MENTORING PROGRAM, OLDER ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM, COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS FOR AJUDICATED YOUTH, TUITION ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO ELIGIBLE STUDENTS IN LOW-ACHIEVING SCHOOLS AND COORDINATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF TOYS AT CHRISTMAS TIME AND WINTER COATS TO AREA NEEDY CHILDREN. DURING 2021, THIS PROGRAM INCLUDED COMMUNITY COVID-19 RESPONSE EFFORTS.
