THE STARK COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY ADMINISTERS BOTH THE FEDERALLY FUNDED EARLY HEAD START AND HEAD START PROGRAMS WHICH PROMOTE LOW-INCOME CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT AND SCHOOL READINESS THROUGH SERVICES THAT SUPPORT EARLY LEARNING, HEALTH, NUTRITION AND FAMILY WELL-BEING.
THE STARK COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY ADMINISTERS THE FEDERALLY FUNDED UTILITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM DESIGNED TO SUPPORT ELIGIBLE LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS IN MEETING THE HIGH COSTS OF HOME HEATING AND COOLING.
THE STARK COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY PROVIDES AN ARRAY OF COMMUNITY SERVICES INCLUDING WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING, YOUTH SERVICES AND EMERGENCY HOUSING AND NUTRITION SERVICES FOR ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. THE STARK COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY ADMINISTERS A FEDERALLY FUNDED, LOW-INCOME RESIDENTIAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAM DESIGNED TO REDUCE LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS' ENERGY USE, THUS CREATING MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THOSE IN MOST NEED.
