PROGRAMS - THE GIRL SCOUT PROGRAM IS BASED ON A CORE SET OF VALUES AND PRINCIPLES OUTLINED IN THE GIRL SCOUT PROMISE AND LAW. WE TEACH LEADERSHIP SKILLS THROUGH NUMEROUS COUNCIL AND PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS THAT EXPLORE TECHNOLOGY, BUSINESS, SPORTS, CAMPING, ACADEMIC SUCCESS, CAREER OPTIONS, HEALTHY LIVING AND THE VALUE OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - 11,625 GIRLS AND 4,359 ADULT MEMBERS ARE PROVIDED WITH THE RESOURCES AND MATERIALS TO ENSURE A QUALITY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IS PROVIDED FOR GIRLS 5 TO 17. IN GIRL SCOUTING-AND ITS SPECIAL GIRL-ONLY ENVIRONMENT-GIRLS DISCOVER THE FUN, FRIENDSHIP AND POWER OF GIRLS TOGETHER.
VOLUNTEERISM - ADULT VOLUNTEERS AND THEIR DEVELOPMENT ARE AN INTEGRAL COMPONENT OF OUR PROGRAM SUPPORT. TO ASSIST ADULTS IN PROVIDING A CONSISTENT AND EFFECTIVE EXPERIENCE, TRAINING IS OFFERED IN LEADERSHIP AND VARIOUS AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING LEARNING PROGRESSIONS IN CHILDREN, SAFETY, CAMPING, GOVERNANCE AND PROGRAM ACTIVITIES.
