PREPARES GIRLS FOR A LIFETIME OF LEADERSHIP THROUGH ACCESS TO HUNDREDS OF GIRL-LED EXPERIENCES AND A CONNECTION TO SUPPORTIVE ADULTS AND AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY. GIRLS HAVE DOZENS OF HANDS-ON LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, ESPECIALLY IN THEIR PILLAR PROGRAM AREAS: STEM, OUTDOOR, LIFE SKILLS, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - OFFERED 13,321 GIRLS IN GRADES K-12 AN OUTCOME BASED LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE. OUR PROGRAMS IN TROOPS, GROUPS, AND IN INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMS PROVIDE GIRLS WITH THE EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION TOOLS WHICH THEY NEED TO BE INDIVIDUALS OF COURAGE, CONFIDENCE, AND CHARACTER. THE COUNCIL TRAINED 2,924 ADULT MEMBERS TO LEAD GIRLS IN GROUP AND PROGRAM SETTINGS. THE COUNCIL COLLABORATES WITH COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND BUSINESSES WITHIN ITS JURISDICTION TO OFFER ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS - THE COUNCIL OFFERED 203 SPECIAL PROGRAMS IN ALL NINE SERVICE COUNTIES FOR GIRLS AND ADULTS. SPECIAL PROGRAMS OFFER GIRLS OF ALL AGES THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN NEW SKILLS, BUILD SELF-ESTEEM, AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR LIVES AND COMMUNITIES. 5,894 GIRLS ATTENDED THESE COUNCIL SPONSORED PROGRAMS.
CAMPING SERVICES - THE COUNCIL OFFERED OUTDOOR PROGRAMS AT FOUR DAY CAMPS. 4,281 GIRLS ATTENDED YEAR-ROUND CAMPING AND TROOP OUTDOOR PROGRAM ACTIVITIES. IN ADDITION, 1,777 GIRLS AND FAMILIES ATTENDED OUR SUMMER DAY CAMP, SLEEPAWAY CAMP, TROOP CAMPING AND FAMILY CAMPING PROGRAMS.
