CAREGIVERS HELPER, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT TREATMENT FOSTER CARE AGENCY THAT SERVES THE NEEDS OF FOSTER CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES 0-18 YEARS. CAREGIVERS HELPER, INC. ALSO OFFERS IN-PERSON, CLASSROOM BASED INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS TRAINING TO CHILDREN, WHO ARE 14 YEARS AND OLDER, THAT ARE IN FOSTER CARE, AS WELL AS OTHER CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY, IF REFERRED BY A CHILD WELFARE WORKER OR AGENCY. CAREGIVERS HELPER IS CERTIFIED THROUGH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOBS AND FAMILY SERVICES AND MANAGED BY INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS.

PROVIDED CARE AND TREATMENT FOR SIXTY- FOUR (64) CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 0-18 YEARS, WHO REQUIRED FOSTER CARE SERVICES DUE TO MANY REASONS RANGING FROM EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, SEXUAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE, NEGLECT, HOMELESSNESS, PARENTAL SUBSTANCE USE/DEPENDENCE, DELINQUENCY, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, ETC. THESE ISSUES ALL CAUSE TRAUMA TO CHILDREN AND IMPACT THEIR DAILY SOCIO-EMOTIONAL AND SOMETIMES EVEN PHYSICAL FUNCTIONING AT SCHOOL, HOME, COMMUNITY, AND SOCIAL SETTINGS. THE AGENCY'S ROLE BEING TO ADDRESS/HELP REDUCE THESE EFFECTS LAYER BY LAYER, ONE CHILD/FAMILY AT A TIME TO IMPROVE LIVES. WE ARE HAPPY TO STATE THAT DESPITE SOME SETBACKS IN 2023, WE WERE SUCCESSFUL IN KEEPING ALL THE CHILDREN SAFE, PROTECTED, AND PROMOTED THEIR WELLBEING IN 2023.
