Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

SPIRIT REINS PARTNERS LICENSED THERAPISTS AND EQUINE PROFESSIONALS WITH HORSES TO PROVIDE COUNSELING SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IMPACTED BY TRAUMA. OUR UNIQUE AND EFFECTIVE THERAPY MODEL HELPS CHILDREN FEEL AND EXPERIENCE SAFETY, UNDO THE SHAME ASSOCIATED WITH EXPERIENCES BEYOND THEIR CONTROL, AND LEARN HOW TO BUILD HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

OUR CORE THERAPY PROGRAM UTILIZED A TEAM APPROACH (A THERAPIST, EQUINE PROFESSIONAL, AND HORSE) TO OFFER INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, AND GROUP COUNSELING SERVICES. THROUGH A HANDS-ON APPROACH, CHILDREN ARE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE SAFETY AND LEARN THE REGULATION AND RELATIONSHIP SKILLS NEEDED TO HEAL THE EFFECTS OF TRAUMA, PREVENT CASCADING NEGATIVE LIFE OUTCOMES IN ADULTHOOD, AND PROMOTE RESILIENCE. ADDITIONALLY, WE PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND SECONDARY TRAUMA TRAININGS FOR EDUCATORS, COUNSELORS, AND CLINICAL SUPERVISORS TO SUPPORT THESE CHILD-SERVING PROFESSIONALS AND EMPOWER THEM WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, CONFIDENCE, AND SKILLS TO CREATE A STRONGER THERAPEUTIC WEB FOR THE CHILDREN THEY SERVE.
