SHELTER, CARE, MEDICAL TREATMENT AND ADOPTION OF LOST, ABUSED, NEGLECTED AND ABANDONED ANIMALS OF JASPER COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA.
BARKIN' BASEMENT THRIFT SHOP: ALL GOODS SOLD IN THE THRIFT SHOP ARE DONATED AND THE TOTAL OF NET PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF THE THRIFT SHOP INVENTORY IS APPLIED TO THE PROGRAM AND SHELTER OPERATIONAL COSTS. IN ADDITION TO ITS PRIMARY MISSION OF SHELTER SUPPORT, THE THRIFT SHOP ALSO NOT ONLY SERVES AS A LOCAL COMMUNITY EMPLOYER BUT ALSO AS A CENTER FOR RECYCLING OF GOODS AND PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THOSE LESS FINANCIALLY FORTUNATE AN OPTION TO PURCHASE RETAIL ITEMS AT A PRICE MORE CONDUCIVE TO THEIR BUDGET AND FINANCIAL CAPABILILITIES.
