DURING 2021 SAPHA SIGNED ONTO LETTERS ADDRESSED TO THE COVID019 ADVISORY BOAR OF THE BIDEN-HARRIS ADMINISTRATION CALLING FOR DISAGGREGATED DATE AND RESOURCES FOR THE FILIPINX A O COMMUNITY WHO ARE DISPROPORTIONATELY IMPACTED BY THE PANDEMIC; AND AN APHA UPDATED POLICY STATEMENT TO INCLUDE ABOLITION OF CARCERAL SYSTEMS FROM A PUBLIC HEALTH PERSPECTIVE. WE ALSO EDITED THE STATEMENT FOR HEALTH EQUITY TO PRESIDENT BIDEN & THE 117TH CONGRESS. IN SEPTEMBER SAPHA HELD A TWO-DAY ANNUAL RETREAT WHICH WAS ATTENDED BY 15 MEMBERS; AND A MENTAL HEALTH WEBINAR ON INTERVENTIONS IN SOUTH ASIAN YOUTH WHICH WAS VIEWED BY 68 PEOPLE.
