NADPH IS A NONPROFIT HEALTH ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON ELIMINATING HEALTH DISPARITIES AND IMPROVING HEALTH OUTCOMES. WE SEEK TO ACHIEVE OUR MISSION BY APPLYING INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH TO ADVANCE OUR UNDERSTANDING OF HEALTH DISPARITIES AND THE COMPLEX INTERACTION BETWEEN THE FACTORS THAT DRIVE THEM, AND IMPLEMENTING TECHNOLOGIES AND EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES TO PREVENT AND REDUCE THEM IN THE COMMUNITIES WHERE THEY EXIST.

THE GOAL OF THE NADPH RESEARCH PROGRAM IS TO DEVELOP COMMUNITY-BASED TRANSLATIONAL AND CLINICAL RESEARCH PROGRAMS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AIMED AT STUDYING THE SCIENCE OF HEALTH AND HEALTH DISPARITIES FROM A MULTIDISCIPLINARY PERSPECTIVE AND UNDERSTANDING HOW HUMAN BIOLOGY INTERACTS WITH ITS SURROUNDING ECOLOGY TO IMPACT HEALTH AND DRIVE DISPARATE CLINICAL OUTCOMES IN CERTAIN POPULATIONS.


OUR COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAM FOCUSES ON OUTREACH EFFORTS THAT PROVIDE UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES WITH INCREASED ACCESS TO, COORDINATION, AND UNDERSTANDING OF RESOURCES ASSOCIATED WITH DELIVERING THE MOST ADVANCED PRECISION HEALTHCARE. ONE OF THE MAJOR GOALS OF THIS PROGRAM IS TO INCREASE THE BASELINE LITERACY AND COMPETENCY OF PATIENTS AND ENABLE THEM TO FLUENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY INTERACT WITH AND NAVIGATE THE U.S. HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AND THE NEXT GENERATION OF PRECISION/VALUE-BASED HEALTHCARE DELIVERY.


HE GOAL OF OUR ATP PROGRAM IS TO SUPPORT THE CREATION OF A MORE SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS BY ADDRESSING ISSUES SURROUNDING THE INNOVATION AND VALUE OF HEALTHCARE, EQUITABLE ACCESS, AND THE CREATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMS AND POLICIES AIMED AT ELIMINATING HEALTH DISPARITIES, PARTICULARLY IN UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM NADPH ENGAGES WITH A BROAD ARRAY OF HEALTH STAKEHOLDERS INCLUDING PHYSICIANS, SCIENTISTS, INVESTORS, POLICYMAKERS, PATIENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE PHARMACEUTICAL, DIAGNOSTICS, HEALTH INSURANCE, BIOTECHNOLOGY, AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIES, TO FOCUS ON STRATEGIES AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SOLUTIONS TO INCREASE RESOURCES FOR HEALTH DISPARITIES RESEARCH; IMPROVE THE STANDARDS OF CARE FOR AT-RISK AND UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS; ACCELERATE THE APPLICATION OF ADVANCED HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES IN HEALTHCARE; DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT MORE EFFECTIVE POLICIES AND LEGISLATION AROUND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, EQUITABLE HEALTHCARE ACCESS, AFFORDABLE CARE, AND DATA TRANSPARENCY & PROTECTION FOR PATIENTS.
