TO ENCOURAGE AND PROTECT TRADE AND COMMERCE AMONG DEALERS IN AUTOMOBILES, AIRSHIPS, ACCESSORIES, MOTOR EQUIPPED UTILITIES AND THEIR ALLIED TRADES.
THE VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW IS A PUBLIC EVENT DESIGNED TO INFORM THE PUBLIC AND MEDIA OF THE LATEST TRENDS IN THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY INCLUDING SHOWCASING THE LATEST AUTO AND TRUCK MODELS AND SOME OF THE NEW TECHNOLOGY. THE EVENT IS DESIGNED TO STIMULATE CONSUMER INTEREST. THE SHOW INCLUDES DISPLAYS FROM THE MAJORITY OF VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS AS WELL AS EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS ON NEW TECHNOLOGIES LIKE HYBRID DRIVE SYSTEMS AND ALTERNATIVE FUEL VEHICLES. THE SHOW IS THE LARGEST EVENT OF ITS KIND IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA AND THE ESTIMATED ATTENDANCE IS 50,000.
