SPECIAL FRIENDS FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING RESOURCES AND SOLUTIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. ADULT SERVICE DIVISION PROVIDES GROUP HOMES AND DAY SERVICES, AND THE FAMILY SERVICES DIVISION. THE MISSION OF SPECIAL FRIENDS ADULT SERVICS DIVISION IS TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES TO ACHEIVE GREATER INDEPENDENCE AND ENHANCED QUALITY OF LIFE. THE FAMILY SERVICES DIVISION BEGAN OVER 20 YEARS AGO AND HAS ASSISTED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES CHALLENGED BY RARE GENETIC DISORDERS AND OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS, PARTICULARY RUBINSTEIN TYABI SYNDROME (RTS).
