HUMAN TISSUE AND RESOURCE FOR RESEARCH: NDRI RECEIVED A FEDERAL AWARD FOR THE HUMAN TISSUE AND ORGAN RESOURCE FOR THE PROCUREMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF NORMAL AND DISEASED HUMAN ORGANS AND TISSUES TO ADVANCE BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE.
PARTNER PROGRAM: COORDINATES VARIOUS HUMAN ORGAN AND TISSUE PROCUREMENT PROGRAMS WITH THE PHARMACEUTICAL AND BIOTECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIES TO ACCELERATE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT. SEVERAL OF THESE PROGRAMS HAVE LED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF TREATMENTS FOR MEDICAL CONDITIONS SUCH AS LUNG DISEASE, DIABETES, AND CANCER, TO NAME ONLY A FEW. OTHER PARTNER PROGRAMS HAVE LED TO THE CREATION OF RESEARCH TOOLS FOR USE IN NUMEROUS TOXICOLOGY AND DRUG DISCOVERY PLATFORMS.
RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS WITH FOUNDATION AND PATIENT ADVOCACY GROUPS (PAG): NDRI MAINTAINS COLLABORATIONS WITH A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT FOUNDATION AND PATIENT ADVOCACY GROUPS FOCUSED ON THE ADVANCEMENT OF RESEARCH IN EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE AREAS OF INTEREST.
