WE ENHANCE THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND STATUS OF CHILD CARE PROVIDERS BY OFFERING THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES. 20 REGISTERED APPRENTICES COMPLETED THEIR TRAINING REQUIREMENTS; TRAINING SESSIONS WERE HELD FOR MENTORS SERVING 22 PARTICIPANTS; 14 COLLEGE COURSES WERE HELD AT CCV SITES THROUGHOUT THE STATE WITH A TOTAL OF 198 STUDENTS RECEIVING COLLEGE CREDITS; 27 CERTIFICATES OF PROFICIENCIES WERE AWARDED IN MAY 2018 TO TECHNICAL CENTER STUDENTS FOR THEIR ACTIVITIES TYPICAL TO THEIR WORK WITH CHILDREN.
