SPURWINK|RI ACCREDITED BY THE COUNCIL ON ACCREDIATION (COA) OPERATES MEDICAID APPROVED RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES AND COMMUNITY-BASED SUPPORTED LIVING THROUGHOUT RHODE ISLAND FOR ADULTS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES REFERRED BY THE RHODE ISLAND DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE, DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND HOSPITALS (BHDDH). THE PROGRAM PROVIDES PARTICIPANTS WITH IMPROVED QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF CLINICAL SUPPORTS, SKILL DEVELOPMENT IN DAILY LIVING, EMPLOYMENT, LEISURE AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
