IN 2021 PREF CONTINUED TO SPONSOR PEACE-PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO THE BEST OF ITS ABILITY DURING A PANDEMIC THAT CAUSED GATHERINGS TO CEASE FOR MOST OF THE YEAR. THE PREF OWNED HAWAIIAN QUEEN COFFEE GARDEN (HQCG) CONTINUES TO BE THE LOCATION FOR PEACE PROGRAMS, INTERFAITH MEETINGS AND PEACE-PROMOTING CONCERTS. THE LIST OF FAITH GROUPS HOLDING RELIGIOUS MEETINGS AT THE HQCG ON A REGULAR BASIS INCLUDES:KONA BETH SHALOM; KONA FAMILY CHURCH;UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISTS PREF'S PRESIDENT SELINA MOON HAS BEEN PARTNERING WITH THE WFWPI UN TEAM AND SPEARHEADED THEIR "GIVING FOR GOOD" FUNDRAISER. THIS FUNDRAISER IS RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AT THE UN, AS WELL AS THE IMPORTANCE OF REDUCING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT. FUNDS RAISED BY THE GIVING FOR GOOD AUCTIONS ARE USED FOR HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS IN AFRICA, ALBANIA, PARAGUAY AND OTHER NATIONS. ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2021 THE WOMEN'S FEDERATION FOR WORLD PEACE AND GIVING FOR GOOD INTERNATIONAL HELD AN ONLINE FUNDRAISING EVENT CALLED "GIVING FOR GOOD: EARTH, OUR HOME. ALL LIFE, OUR FAMILY." THIS EVENT WAS HOSTED BY PREF'S PRESIDENT SELINA MOON, AND WAS HELD TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SELECT WFWPI PROJECTS AROUND THE WORLD RELATED TO CLIMATE ACTION, HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS AS WELL AS THE WFWPI UN OFFICE, AND WAS ATTENDED LIVE BY AROUND 400 PARTICIPANTS FROM 15 COUNTRIES. IN AUGUST, 2021 PREF AGREED TO RENT A PORTION OF THE HQCG TO A PRIVATE SCHOOL CALLED KOKUA ACADEMY WHICH HAS THE PHILOSOPHY OF "LIVING FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS". AS WE BELIEVE THIS ALIGNS WITH PREF'S VALUES WE HAVE OFFERED THEM A DISCOUNTED RENT AS A CHARITABLE DONATION.PREF ALSO OPENED THE GROUNDS OF HQCG TO A FAMILY FOR A FULL DAY HO'OPONOPONO EVENT IN 2021. HO'OPONOPONO IS AN ANCIENT HAWAIIAN SPIRITUAL PRACTICE THAT INVOLVES LEARNING TO HEAL ALL THINGS BY ACCEPTING "TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY" FOR EVERYTHING THAT SURROUNDS US - CONFESSION, REPENTANCE, AND RECONCILIATION.
