NATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS - WE FUNDED A NUMBER OF STRATEGIC NATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS THIS YEAR, INCLUDING HUMAN ANIMAL SUPPORT SERVICES PROJECTS. WE APPROVED 47 NEW PARTNERSHIP GRANTS THIS YEAR.
EDUCATION GRANTS - WE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS IN OUR INDUSTRY THROUGH OPPORTUNITIES LIKE CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS, SHELTER MEDICINE TRAINING AND MADDIE'S UNIVERSITY COURSE DEVELOPMENT. WE APPROVED 17 EDUCATION GRANTS THIS YEAR.
BIPOC-LED OPERATING SUPPORT GRANT - A NEW GRANT OPPORTUNITY FOR ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATIONS WHO ARE LED BY A BLACK, INDIGENOUS OR PERSON OF COLOR (BIPOC). WE APPROVED 107 GRANTS THIS YEAR.
OPEN ARMS CHALLENGE - A NEW CHALLENGE GRANT THIS YEAR, WE CHALLENGED ORGANIZATIONS TO IMPLEMENT NEW OPEN AND WELCOMING PRACTICES, AND SELECTED 62 OF THE PARTICIPATION ORGANIZATIONS TO WIN GRANTS.
